Just watching the chelsea game but what about reyes who plays for athetico madrid,he was great when he played for arsenal and maybe life has just gone sour for him there so maybe a fresh move for him and he will be back to his best

Woah woah woah, I think this money has gone to peoples heads... Drenthe, Reyes, Zarate, Davies, Bentley, Chamakh, Petrov etc etc we have come in to some money, we have not become world beaters. Giove me the ones who will want to play for the shirt in a battle this season to keep us up and then look at a better quality in the summer and beyond.

This is going to take time, we will not become top 10 material overnight. sensible signings in Jan, Gary O Neil, Chris Brunt, etc

With all the wishes that we would like to have playing for the Blues don't forget the following.
1) Yeung said 20 to 40 mill in January. Not a straight 40 mill
2) Out of the money comes the following.
A) Transfer fee
B) Signing On Fee
C) Agents Fee
D) Wages
E) Anything else they can scam.
So when you start to take these items in to consideration you don't have a lot of money left out of say 30 mill.
Good players want good money.Rooney 5 mill/year
Terry 7.5 mill/year etc
Considering the lengths of the list of players being mooted I cannot see us getting more that three players of any worth.
