with several clubs now selling the naming rights to their stadiums, will grandtop sell off our Beloved St Andrews name to swell the coffers come January, If so can we be called THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF BIRMINGHAM STADIUM.
"Come the revolution Brother",
Now what can we name that place in the vileage,Any Thoughts Please. |

Change the name tomorrow if that meant success, PL existance for many years to come.
Let's be honest St Andrews has never bought us much luck.
When the new stadium is built, that is when the name will be changed. |

The new stadium if it happens will probably be called City of Birmingham Stadium but technically that way of using a name has been used by Man City.
Personally I would call it:
BEST STADIUM IN THE MIDLANDS lol!!!!
Seriously my short list:
The Jeff Hall Memorial Ground
Birmingham City International Stadium
A nice touch if they do take the name of the city would be naming stands.
The Jeff Hall End
The Gil Merrick End
The Trevor Francis End
The Joe Bradford End _________________ AMBITION BORN 1993 DIED 2005 STILL AWAITING THE REBIRTH

Changing the name of the ground?
We were lucky the cow didn't manage to rename the whole club - remember that one?
St. Andrews for me - as long as we're still there - relocate and thats the time for stadium name sponsorship.
Although there is of course opportunity to homour those closely associated with the club in the past. How about a range of cocktails in the bars eg The Sullivan Surprise where it is billed as the most fabulous drink you will ever have but in return for a ridiculous purchase price you receive precisely nothing..... (although maybe not so surprising after all)
The Brady Bullshiner a monthly mag full of absolute lies about just about everything to do with BCFC.
You get the jist. |
