...and how bad was Hart tonight!

Shades of slumberland all over again when he went walkabout for the one goal. Taylor MUST start against the bin dippers.

O'Shea impressed me - very industrious and Phillips' pass for Shroot's first goal was class, and well taken by the lad.

Johnson and Dann needn't worry about Espinoza threatening their places, not on tonight's showing anyway.

Mutch is a long long way from the first team, but in fairness, he's been out for an eternity, so he needs time to get back into the groove.

However, Hart, once again made an absolute howler and IMO needs to be rested.

Surely Espinoza was only brought over to keep Chucho company. Like Ferdinand Coly. Or Joel Cantona.

Well, Chucho probably wouldn't care about the latter two, but you get the picture.

Thanks for that report Tomo.

I have been banging on about Hart - as have others and really began to think it was just me who was worried.

I'm sure that other people, who understand the technicalities of goalkeepers better than me, know what they are talking about when they say this guy is pure class and will eventually be Englands No1. However, to me it looks as though he has simply lost confidence and we at BCFC cannot afford the luxury of restoring that at present.

After watching Given last week, it is clear why Man City see no place for Hart for some time. maybe that's what's bugging him - which is understandable.

I always though you employed loan players when you had a particular problem in a certain position.

I really do wish the lad well, but points are too valuable at present for me to dwell on sympathy.

Clearly, if Taylor drops some immediate big clangers then I will have to eat my words, but on the Man City form he should keep his place at present.

I'll be interested to see the video heighlights Shroot scoring 2 and O'Shea having a good game.

Re Hart having abit of a iffy period I would play Taylor give Hart a rest for a few games get him focused.

its interesting to see peoples reactions to Hart compared to how we treat our own youngsters......

When Doyle made mistakes in the premiership im pretty sure there wasnt this sort of castigation for him......especially given Hart is responsible for is it the 5th best defence in the league?

he is a young talented keeper who we need to give time

From the video highlight's thought Shroot took his 2 goals well so did Phillips.

Iffy defending by Blues threw a 2 goal lead away from what I saw of "Epinaintgottacluelumaxoza" he has a bigger turning circle than the Q.E and when he was running the Villa player right into the corner flag no danger the Villa player made him look a tool cutting in around him into the box " Goal".

Does Shroot or O Shea merit a place on the bench by that showing?
