| ok this might be a stupid poll but there is a lot of unrest here on the forum and there are fans who like me think MON as took us as far as he can so without coming back with abusive posts just answer the poll |

Yes it is a stupid poll. There a two distinct groups on this forum, those who support MON (some with a little reservation admittedly) and those who want him sacked immediately but have no credible and gettable alternative.
That has been so at least since we had the dip in form last season. I can't see how a poll is going to prove anything beyond providing a rehash of the same tired arguments from both sides and facts that have been debated endlessly on other threads. Sorry! _________________ Aston Villa, the home of Premier League football in the Midlands. |

SACK HIM
TAR & FEATHER HIM!
BURN THE WITCH
Come on sack MON guys who should be the replacement and why will he get in the top four???
Those are the key issues no point sacking him if you cant get better _________________ The end is nigh! Aston Villa to be relegated this season, MON to be sacked, all the players will be sold and not replaced, the club will go bankrupt and close down......
THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THIS TO MY ATTENTION |

villa4eva, unfortunately on here you are never going to get enough total votes to have anything like an accurate picture, especially as you will get some missing links voting in our polls as they are childish morons with no meaningful life.
For what it is worth, I have strong doubts that MON will take us any further, but changing your manager every 3 years rarely works. He deserves at least one more year (probably two) imo.
And two sixth place finishes in a row is hardly a disaster and is something that the mono brain-celled knuckle draggers could only ever dream of!
With the unfair playing field now operating in English football it is difficult to see who could take us any higher unless someone with loads more money than Randy buys the club and appoints a top name manager, and provides unlimited funds.
As much as I want us to get in the top 4, I think our best chance is just waiting and hoping some of the teams above us implode financially. That is a sad indictment of the Premiership, but is the reality as I see it.

Guys get real its is about money we have so much but thankfully we have a manager who can get the best out of the least. MON is serious about the job but he also has to be a realsit. |

I say keep him. He is our best chance at catching you!
It is a terrible shame but it is now certain that this is the first decade since God had a dog that you have not won a trophy of some description. What with the top players seemingly not wanting to join you and selling your better ones, you appear to be a club in decline.
I think that we will catch and overftake you within two seasons. What do you think? |

paul i couldnt be bothered to type it all again so i copied what i said earlier on another post:
MON was a disaster for us last season,ok you ask yourself 6th place finish and people are moaning, well look at it another way if we had kept up our form we would of been playing champions league football next season thus we will of kept barry at the club and then could of gone up another level,MONs dealing in the transfer market is also looking a bit suspect,he has bought some awfull players who havent lived up to their expectations and hasnt done nothing this window either bar letting players go,he took european football last season as a joke etc,i for one think a new manager who will spend randys money wisely will benefit AVFC all round |
