Reo-Coker are you serious???
We already have about 8 centre midfielders with no creativity why would we want another!
We need a creative, skilfull centre midfielder in the Ortega,Requelme mould.
Pavyluchenko up front with Chucho(cant play him on his own up front).
Bentley for on the wing(needs to leave London to get back to best).
Two new full backs, go back in for Traore from Arsenal and get a pacy right back.
In the summer get Zarate back if poss.. _________________ Who needs Bill Gates, when we have Carson Yeung! |

i think we all know this, you sound like mark lawrenson. it is easy to be critical, and obviously we need to be picking up more points now, but i really believe that we are heading int he right direction.
The potential signings should be a shot in the arm for the side and and they will all know they are not just playing for premier survival, they are also playing for the place in squad.
this could be the start of a good period for blues and although we know the situation we are in with our league position etc, we should alsobe optimistic for the future and stop being so negative. |

My wish list:
Prices may not be what their clubs want but i'd offer:
Dzeko £10m
Govou £5m
McGeady £7m
Wheater £6m
Van Nistelrooy £2m
Riquelme £5m
Then you have £5m left over for their wages till the end of the year!!
mostly attacking players which can create and score!! Exactly what we need!!! _________________ Football is my religion St. Andrews my church KRO & SOTV COME ON YOU BLUE BOYZ |

Unfortunately, some of the names on these wish lists will all be a distant dream if we don't have 20 points on the board by January, none of them will want 'Relegated from the Premiership 2009/10'.
Multi, multi millionaire Ruud Van N isn't going to risk being associated with a relegation club.
I think our wishlists will be based around young overseas players who are on the fringes of their national teams ahead of the World Cup. 4 great months in the Premiership will count for a great deal when managers are making up their minds on who to take to the World Cup - we might be able to tempt a couple of those.
Naturally, any such player will demand a low fee exit clause in the event of relegation. |

money will be an obvious draw...
right now we have an opportunity to compete with certain clubs for a different class of player than we have been able to in recent years.
january will be all about bringing in 3, 4 or 5 players if we can that will improve things sufficiently to secure prem status for this season. in the summer we can invest again hoepfully and we should be in amuch better position to bring in players who represent the next level we should be aiming for.
someone mentioned Van Nistelroy and that could be a good shout for a loan until the end of the season.
i still wouldnt mind Alan Smith, Joe Ledley... |

exactly!
I havent got as many years as you mate, I'm only 35, but being a blues fan is like aging in dog years. every year as blues fan is like 7 as a fan of a normal club.
frustration is the usual emotion felt by us but now that the Brady bunch have gone and looking for another fanbase to disenfranchise we should be able to feel a bit of optimism for a change. |

Whereas I completely agree that we will strugle to attract top players if we are bottom by Jan, I would argue that not many 'bottom clubs' have ever spent 30mil in Jan?
If these players are all contacted at the same time and can see who else is on the list, it may help convince them that staying up is very much possible.
But at the same time, I agree that we should attempt to be a tad more realistic.
Not knowing much about foreign leagues, i'll stick to a british wish list.
Upson / Wheater
Traore
Parker
McGeady
Bentley
Kevin Davies
Zarate!!
If I had to pick 4 only, i'd have to go; Upson(10m?), Parker(6m?), Bentley(8m?) & Davies(5m?).
Therefore my team to keep us up being:
...........................Hart
Carr.......Johnson........Upson......Vignal
Larsson.....Ferguson......Parker.....Bentey
.....................Davies
..........................Chucho
bench; Taylor, Ridgewell, Parnaby, Bowyer, Sheff, Fadds, Jerome. _________________ 保留权利!!! |

come on lads, why is everyone putting upson on their lists???
there is no chance he will return. whenever he comes to stans he gets booed every touch and the chants of "upson...takes it up the backside" ring out all around the ground! |
