January Transfer Window

Yes before I get stick I know I am a bit early but after today's woefull performance against Wolves I am wondering what my fellow Villa fans would like to see come January.

Personally I would like to see Heskey sold straight away. Maybe even Sidwell cuz he just does not have the attributes to push us forward. I would certainly like to see 2 quality goal scorers brought in. Also a creative midfield player or two. Depending on when Downing comes back and how well he does I would also like to see us buy a left winger. Ashley Young has just self destructed and looks worse than a pub player with his legs tied together. We do have some very good players in Milner, Collins and Gabby but we need more. Unless MON spends big to bring in quality proven players we will never climb the table or win a trophy. The best thing we can hope for this season is that the Scum go down cuz I can't see MON bringing in any quality at all, just for a change.

We urgently need a quality striker but I doubt we will get one in January as they will not be easy to come by.

We defo need one , Gabby is doing all , and Carew is trying to get heskey back in the team as he's doing nothing, and we dont want that.

Seriously we must try some of the kids , cuz heskey aint good enough , carew aint doing it so whats left.

Vills don't score enough goals, period. We need a striker who is capable of scoring 20 goals a season the PL, not just all competitions.

Will be sign someone in January? I very much doubt it. In fact I doubt we will even try. Added to that I would like us to rationalise our central midfield options and try to sign a playmaker. I actually think that is a more likely option.

Perhaps it would be worth lodging a bid for Diego Forlan. Aguero seems to be keeping him in the shadows at the moment, but Atletico are struggling in la Liga and close to going out of the CL, so a good offer and fantastic personal terms may be enough to prise him away. Much easier said than done though.
