Its quite simple Bubblehead, the last few days have proved what I have been saying for a long time that the likes of yourself, dangeroused, paulmelbourne, Mondisciple and Paul are the WUMS on here inciting the trouble.
IMO last nights result was another embarrassment, listening to Paul Walsh doing the commentary on sky made me cringe with all the negative comments he fed back. A distinct lack of skill, entertainment and only sheer effort were on display according to Walsh. I have no reason to doubt him having witnessed plenty of lack lustre displays under Mon.
How the above mentioned WUMS can ignore this continued garbage, hide from the truth and get carried away with a lucky win is sad.
If we are as good as you lot make out why are you praying we draw Portsmouth or Blackburn.
I want us to get to wembley, but only when the team is good enough and entertaining enough to have the neutrals applauding us. I don't want us embarrassing ourselves like last time against Bolton (semi) and Chelsea in the FA Cup 2000. _________________ Trouble shooter, most knowledgeble member and bullet proof |

ExMid; in the unlikely event that you're married, you must be a joy to live with. Mrs. ExMid you have my utmost sympathy. What you continually misunderstand - and I don't know whether its on purpose, or simply because you're not very bright - is that nobody that I have read on this site thinks we yet have a team that is ready to take the EPL by storm. I heard Paul Walsh's report and surprise, surprise interpreted his comments completely differently to you! You know, in a more positive kind of way. Strange that.
We can all see the flaws in our playing personnel and manager, but that makes our successes all the more enjoyable. Now I know that's not a word you're too familiar with, but give it a try. You know, you might, yes, ENJOY something! We could all drone on continually about why we aren't as good as Barcelona, but lighten up old chap life's too short to be a miserable so and so all the time. |

I can fully understand that you would like us to draw the likes of Chelsea/ManU/Arsenal/Spurs away from home, as you would then be able to watch the match free on the Box, it may clash with Coronation Street though
Name any clubs' supporters who would not wish for a home draw against Pompey/Blackburn, it is not rocket science to wish for the "supposedly" easier teams at this stage of a Cup Competition. |

I have a sneaking suspicion he may be childishly trying to wind us up.... and failing miserably, nae pathetically.
Are there any other Villa out there embarrassed and disappointed we made the quarter finals of the cup? Very much doubt it. Bizzarre isnt it.
And just as we were starting to get along. Oh, well, I tried.
Like listening to blue paint dry. |

Ok Exmid I will bite and call you out.
Post the messages I have posted from the few days......
This should be funny _________________ The end is nigh! Aston Villa to be relegated this season, MON to be sacked, all the players will be sold and not replaced, the club will go bankrupt and close down......
THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THIS TO MY ATTENTION |

Exmid - no one wins a tournament or a cup with out a bit of luck - come on....
Football as they say "is a funny old game" - often the team who are getting thrashed scrape through and nick the match - ie stoke at Spurs last week - spurs were definately unlucky.... it happens all the time. Look at Villa v United when we were 2-0 up in the 85th minute only for Ruud Van Horselroy to score 3 goals and win it for them....
to win a cup you need the luck to go your way. On the night I think both sides were even - and in the penalties - perhaps better keeping or poor striking, either way we came through the match -
now a bit of luck will be getting blackburn or portsmouth - beating them at home.
then the semi - hopefully one of those two teams get through and we play one of them - before we know it - we're at Wembley against Chelsea who we are capable of beating especially 4 days after they have travelled back from the Ukraine following a Champions League match - you just dont know do you! _________________

So much for the cease fire on abuse, the above reply is further proof the abuse does not start from me.
C.U.N your user name is so close to being very apt.
When are you going to wake up and realise Mon has took us down an expensive road to nowhere. If you honestly think we stand a chance of winning a cup with this side you're in cuckoo land.
You say you are aware of the flaws with the present side, I'm not sure because I remember you saying you voted for Petrov as player of the year last year and I bet you still believe he can lead us to glory
I bet you also still feel after 3 yrs Carew is going to become a 20 goal a season wonder and that Ashley Young is great
Your personal insult infering that I may not be married is below the belt and completely wrong, I have a lovely wife, which I doubt you have if the standards you have in football is anything to go by accepting Mons ugly football. Will she be out with all the other witches tomorrow night
Has it ever dawned on you C.U.N that the poor attendances at Villa Park are down to the lack of entertainment and not the recession because we do have the cheapest ticket prices around. Just look at Arsenal they have won nothing in possibly 4 yrs yet they have regular 60,000 attendances at much higher prices because they get value for money in entertainment.
Just to clarify to the other members on here, I will treat people how I'm treated in future .
I am also going to keep this thread active to show how carried away many of you have been, so when we fail to win the cup you will see what mugs you have been. _________________ Trouble shooter, most knowledgeble member and bullet proof
