TF - the modern day legend returns after years of being snubbed by the Brady bunch, quite a headline. It's 40 years since TF walked into Stans, that's too long to wait for the next homegrown prodigy, another condemnation of the previous set-up.

IMHO Yeung & Co have more idea about making BCFC a successfull Premier League Club than Sullivan..Gold's & Brady ever had thank god they have ridden off into the sunset.

It's a very very strange feeling not having anger every time the "Shister's" spouted some utter "Bullshine" the new regime know without support and respect from the Fan's they will achieve nothing so well done Yeung & Co.

I think its just Yeung trying to win the fans over, which is fair enough Francis is a Blues legend.

I have a lot of time for TF only because he was such a wonderful football player in a Blues shirt but what could he do to benefit Birmngham City FC in the role that is being mentioned????

I cant see TF wanting to come back for anything less then a £100-£200k a year??? plus perks and IMO if it was not to do with the footballing side,like scouting or coaching then its a waste of time and money that could be put towards a top notch scout or coach.

Ambassador Whats that about???Im sure CY could get a couple of culprits off here that would jump at that job for a hot dog and a programme every week never mind a £100k

It seems to me old TF likes to come back to us when there is a sniff of good times around the corner,i still have a bitter taste in my mouth from when Blues asked him to come back (twice) in the middle 80's and he turned it down as quick as lightening,when the correct wages and many demands could not be met.

What happened to my Club,my Birmingham City then??

And of course there was that unforgettable circus act at Deepdale in the play off that cost us promotion...Which i will carry with me to my grave
