Boyd is poor not the sort of quality we should be going for and from what I've read Eck isn't interested. We've got Chucho and need a big target man type, or proven quality goalscorer like the ones Eck was linked with in the Mail a week or so ago. Boyd#s agents are desperate to get him a big wedge and keep pushing his name I bet. This is going to happen a lot now before January.

I am sure that most of the stories stating who Birmingham are going to buy are just speculation, and I hope this is one of them, we don't need Boyd.
If you look through the names that have been spouted in the press just in the last few days we are reported to be buying almost a new team.
Lets just wait until January then we will see who we have bought.

sorry wouldnt want either of these players davis was okat villa for a while then they sold him and they diod that for a reason at the time of doing this they were where we want to be (midtable) so if he was not good enough for a midtable team then what changed. not only that he is an ex villa player and most fans as soon as he puts a foot wrong will get on his back for that reason, he transfered to fulhum and was awful there so is def not the quality of player we should be looking for

Agree he had the chance to sign for BCFC I dont think "FaffaboutBrady" helped did she.

I see he scored 2 again for Ranger's 27 last season I do not know what to think if he is available in the Summer end of contract thus no fee is he worth a punt and would he play second fiddle to Chucho and hopefully a big striker...........wonder if that Russian " Goliath" Valuev can play football what a monster
