Well with Petrov out and our current vein of form - im going with a 1-1 draw. Bolton are no push over - and our captain missing - luck just isn't going our way,
Carew to score and some northern pie eater for them. _________________

I never normally predict but I will go with 2-1 to Bolton as they are precisely the sort of side that will roll us over as we persist with a useless 4-4-2 formation and get overrun and outsmarted in midfield (again).
Sadly I also predict a booing for the team at the end of the game and no doubt Cahill will be immense.
Not that I'm fed up of course.... _________________ Aston Villa, the home of Premier League football in the Midlands. |

Can't see anything other than a 2-1 to Bolton. And Zat Knight to get one of them.
I suppose its good for us that the game has come around so quick after last nights debacle, but just think we're on the brink of a sticky patch. The midfield need to start piping up with a few goals, the strikers (Gabby aside) just aren't doing it. I'd also bring in Delph and NRC to freshen things up a bit. _________________ Holte Enders in the sky.......

| Not sure why, but I think we are going to stuff Bolton on Saturday. Our new centre halfs are better suited to playing against the likes of Davis and I think Bolton lack pace in defence which we should exploit. We are also due a bit of luck so, I am going to go for 4-1 to the Villa. I think the enforced changes will actually freshen things up a bit and MON may just stumble upon a winning formula. Let's just hope he recognises the fact! |

I had forgotten that Petrov is suspended so that is going to force a rethink in midfield which has to be a good thing. Still a tight game for me though. Do we know whether Milner will be back? _________________ Aston Villa, the home of Premier League football in the Midlands. |

After correctly predicting Villa would beat Sunderland on penalties and the 2-1 scoreline on Wednesday, the Meister is currently on fire and confidently predicts a 3-1 Villa win on Saturday.
Well ok I am lying about confidently predicting any Villa win but surely we have to start scoring a few goals soon and the team should be extra determined to get back to winning ways against a poor Bolton team before we start to lose touch at the top end.
If we lose then I am sure that the boo boys will be back, although having said that we won our next 4 league games the last time following the boos.
So everybody...after 3..................1...2...3... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Another potential bannana skin this one. And as much as I hate to say it, I am going for a Villa 1 Bolton 2 score with **** Knight scoring one of their's and possibly Cahill the other, now there muct be a bet there somewhere?
I really would like to see Albrighton on from the start and a lot of the younger players on the bench, with Mon sitting high up in the stands in order that he may see exactly where some of our problems lie. _________________ Its make or break time in 2009. |

I like your thoughts, well except the score. However my feelings are if Heskey plays, our basically 10 men team will lose: if he doesn't we will win. We need an unlocker(is there such a word) stick on Bannan. One question why doesn't Delph ever play in the reserves, he may learn something and at least get some match fitness!
Right that's it, down to the local |
